Here is the SEaB Energy 2D Animation video from YouTube, which tells you about how SEaB Energy works!
Also below is an interview with Sandra Sassow on BBC News if you want to find out more about SEaB Energy.
Following this are some shorts videos that I have produced, these were filmed at the ‘Female Entrepreneurship’ event for Enterprise Tuesday’s at the University of Portsmouth. I wanted to film these for this blog so that more people can hear about Sandra Sassow’s journey and some tips from her! She is a very inspiring woman so please have a watch and see if you can take something from her advice.
If you know that you have a passion in life, you should go for it. Don’t let anyone stop you and believe in yourself. There will always be people in life that tell you not to do something or that you can’t do something so use this to prove them wrong.
“Battle for what you believe in” – If you see ways to make change happen in the world, make it happen. Sandra Sassow is a prime example of this and has done what she believes to make a successful business.
All throughout life you are going to face hurdles but it is these hurdles which will make you a stronger person. So don’t see them as things blocking you from reaching your goals but see them as the steps you have to climb to reach success. I would suggest to take every opportunity that comes your way as you don’t know what is going to happen, in your career or your personal life.
What Sandra is saying here is to sell ideas and make people believe that what you are going to create is worth creating. If you can’t sell an idea it is going to be a lot harder to sell anything else. If you feel that you have some great ideas but don’t know how to sell, then researching into this and possibly getting mentoring could be a good start. It will save you time in the future and increase your positivity and confidence with your product.
It is important to do your research if you want to start a business so that you can make sure there is a market! This will then develop your confidence and self-belief in your business.
I love this and think it is important to think about in many different aspects of life. Many of us will be able to think about times where we have been nervous but how rewarding does it feel when you get over them nerves?! So this piece of advice I believe is great. Nerves and excitement are very closely related so if you need to speak in front of people (or anything else that makes you nervous, such as job interviews) try and make yourself excited! I have done this a lot and the more you do it the easier it becomes to turn nerves into excitement.
If you are going to be looking for work and then working most of your life, make sure it is something you love, which fits your personality. No matter how long you have been in a career you can always change it and there is loads of advice out there. Follow the link to Heather Barrie’s where there is more information.
